Lloyds TSB Internet Banking
The Lloyds TSB internet banking system is well documented with sample screens and an online demo to help you learn what is actually a very easy-to-use service. What is missing is an adequate helpline- none was clearly visible. The sample screens also conked out several times in testing. You are protected by a no-quibble anti-fraud guarantee; provided you keep your details safe you're indemnified from fraud arising from the internet system.
In use, the screens are simple- although there's too much emphasis on trying to sell you more stuff- you can apply for plenty of services online, but you can't for example, sort your statement printouts, search for cheques or debits, or go that far back historically into your account.
Downloads are available in spreadsheet or QIF/PFM formats (for importing into a finance management program like Quicken or MS Money). Another plus is that the same system is used for business as for personal accounts; so if you hold multiple accounts for different purposes then you won't have to learn something new each time- indeed you can view both in the same interface. You can add and delete recipients for bill and transfer payments very easily, and whilst the data management side of the Lloyds TSB internet banking service is less than the best, the transaction side is efficient and concise.
