Clydesdale Internet Banking
Clydesdale internet banking uses the same system as the Yorkshire bank and as such it's a bit convoluted to get signed up in the first place, but well worth it in the end. To begin with, you need to be registered for their telephone banking service first- which is odd, as plenty of people would want one service and not the other. Business and personal customers also have to go through different signing up procedures.
Thereafter, the Clydesdale internet banking experience gets much better. As well as access to all accounts (savings, current, credit etc.) the view and sort functions are exceptional. Pick what type of transactions you want to view, which dates you want to look at, and how you would like the information sorted. These sorting functions are all too often missing from internet banking services.
There's also a fantastic scheduling tool, which lets you make regular payments. This is fairly unique- choose when and how much to pay somebody, and then sit back and let it happen each month, week or whatever suits you. Ideal for example for saving a little each month for a holiday; or paying rent. Future and past payments can also be viewed with one click, making planning finances a doddle. People don't usually choose their current account based on internet banking functions, but if you do, then Clydesdale internet banking should be one to watch.
