Bank of Ireland Internet Banking

The Bank of Ireland internet banking service is called "365Online", and includes a very effective demo. You can view all your BOI accounts- whether they be savings, current accounts, credit cards or loans; and all views can be customised up to 12 months ago- that's better than most competitors. The search facilities are excellent- you can look for a specific cheque, or only view cash withdrawals for example. You can also give nicknames to your various accounts, and the whole service works seamlessly between currencies- which is more than can be said for most banks (although that doesn't mean transactions are commission free!).
You can pay bills (although this is restricted to nominated companies), and move money between accounts- again irrespective of currency, so there may be an advantage here if you regularly do business in foreign currencies- particularly Euros. Each account also has a record of standing orders (although direct debits seemed to be absent).

There is also a mobile/WAP service available, but note also that despite several pages of security advice, the Bank of Ireland internet banking service does not carry with it any sort of security guarantee or fraud compensation scheme. In summary, the tools are enterprise-quality, but first you need to be sure you can handle the potentially expensive account fees!
